Light and Shadows

Light and Shadows by David SelbyDavid Selby began his television acting career portraying Quentin Collins in the daytime serial Dark Shadows in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Appearing first as a ghost in modern times and later as a living person under a werewolf curse in the 1800s, Quentin was a complex, evolving character who lived in both the light and the shadows as the supernatural series shifted its storylines across the centuries.

Light and Shadows presents a collection of original poems and song lyrics composed by Selby that have been influenced by not only his Dark Shadows days but also his experiences and emotions in life away from show business. He explores the joys and sorrows of the real world imbued with a sense of gratitude, a touch of whimsy and a resounding hope for the future.

Dozens of rare and previously unpublished photos from Selby's life and career are included.

Light and Shadows is a 102-page softcover book featuring an introduction by the author, twelve poems, and a 50-page "Photo Gallery" featuring color and black and white images.

New copies of this book are not currently available.
