Surviving Christmas
Surviving Christmas debuted in theaters in November 2004. The film stars Ben Affleck as Drew, who finds himself jilted by his girlfriend Missy, portrayed by Jennifer Morrison, when he proposes that they take a trip to Fiji rather than celebrating a family Christmas. Depressed and alone, Drew decides to "rent" the family now living in his childhood home (portrayed by Catherine O'Hara, James Gandolfini, and Christina Applegate) so that he can enjoy a family Christmas. His plans go awry when Missy and her family arrive unannounced at the house.
