I Won't Dance

In May 1981, David Selby appeared in Oliver Hailey's I Won't Dance at the Helen Hayes Theatre in New York. Publicity materials offer this plot synopsis: "A paraplegic confined to a wheelchair celebrates the recent mysterious murder of his brother and sister-in-law in a diabolic manner." The play, directed by Tom O'Horgan and produced by David Merrick, featured Selby as Dom with Gail Strickland as Lil and Arlene Golonka as Kay. (Fans of Dark Shadows may recall that Strickland appeared on the series as Dorcas Trilling, one of werewolf Quentin Collins' victims.)
