Castle Rock
On August 1, 2018, David Selby made his streaming series debut in an episode of Hulu's Castle Rock entitled "The Box." As the series title suggests, Castle Rock is set in the fictional world created by author Stephen King.
The series begins with the discovery of a mysterious prisoner in an underground cage in Shawshank Prison following the warden's suicide. The unaccounted-for inmate has little to say except for the name Henry Deaver, a death-row attorney originally from Castle Rock who was the subject of his own mystery twenty-seven years earlier when he disappeared and was found on a frozen lake by the town sheriff. As Henry tries to get to the bottom of the inmate's case, he also tries to piece together the details of his own disappearance. This leads him to the home of David Selby's character, Josef Desjardins, in the fourth episode of the series.
"The Box" is included in the Castle Rock: The Complete First Season Blu-ray and DVD releases (paid links).
