David asked that this be posted to mark today’s anniversary of President’s Lincoln’s assassination. It is from the commemoration of the 150th anniversary in 2015 at Ford’s Theatre.

John Callahan

An old friend of mine and fellow actor, John Callahan, left this world a couple of days ago. John and I had not seen each other in decades. No reason… other than actors go on with their own lives and to wherever the next job takes them.
John was a very good actor. We very much enjoyed working together. We had a good time. Audiences appreciated his craft, but it was his big warm smile and heart that won them over. His smile and heart will always be with me.
Take care my friend.

Bob Cobert

Bob Cobert, the genius who composed the music for Dark Shadows, has left this world. I am sure Bob composed something wonderful to be played as he passed through heaven’s gate.
Bob was a warm, kind, and gentle man and a friend to all those who had the pleasure of working with him. Bob’s music for Dark Shadows was a huge reason for the show’s success. He composed the music for “Quentin’s Theme.” I can never think of Quentin without hearing Bob’s music.
How fortunate I was to be the beneficiary of Bob’s genius. He was a dear, humble and special man who always knew the score and how it should be played.
I loved you dear friend.
God bless.
